Volume 5 is the fifth volume of the Prison School manga by Akira Hiramoto, published in tankobon format on July 6th, 2012.[1] A French graphic novel was published on July 1st, 2015 by Soleil Manga,[2] and a German graphic novel was published by Egmont Manga on December 3rd, 2015.[3] An English graphic novel by Yen Press was published on March 22nd, 2016.[4]


The Underground Student Council initiates Operation Boys Expulsion (男子退学オペレーション Danshi Taigaku Operēshon), determined to drive the male prisoners out of the academy. However, the boys have internal turmoil to deal with too with Shingo still picking on Kiyoshi and Gackt's Guan Yu figure in the direst of straits. The D.T.O. is relentless, however, and the longer it continues, the more Kiyoshi and the others find their friendships, bonds, and hearts being destroyed... Is expulsion really the only way out?
