The Getaway (ゲッタウェイ Gettawei) is the 26th chapter of the Prison School manga, serialised in Weekly Young Magazine on September 5th, 2011 and published in tankobon format in Volume 3 on January 6th, 2012.
During the breakout, a crossdressing Kiyoshi manages to cross the school courtyard until he is pulled back by Mari metres from the fence. When he notices that Mari has stopped him, he resigns himself to the breakout being a failure, his date with Chiyo and Gakuto's chance to buy rare figurines being ruined and the humiliation of being caught crossdressing. To his suprise however, Mari asks him to remove the bag from his back and does not recognize him. When she pulls the bag back, she sees the large rip in his blazer and apologises before allowing him to leave. Without pause, Kiyoshi immediately runs to the train station.
At the sports ground, Gakuto is watching the girls and becomes hopeful at the prospect of meeting one from outside their school as they won't know of his embarrassment. When Meiko comes to check on the luggage team and tells him to fix his zipper however, her insults betray the truth to the other girls to their disgust. Meanwhile, a late Kiyoshi exits the Ryougoku station wearing his prisoner uniform once more and runs into a late Chiyo. She gives him a towel and they leave to walk to the venue of the sumo tournament.
- The chapter title is a cultural reference to American neo-noir crime film The Getaway.
