Begin Again (はじまりのうた Hajimari no Uta) is the 228th chapter of the Prison School manga, serialized in Weekly Young Magazine on September 12th, 2016.

Summary[]

In the air above the sports ground during the cavalry battle, an enraged Meiko demands that the angelic figures release her. The angelic figures are violently seized and trapped in her limbs with crippling strength to force them away. Their screams of pain suddenly rejuvenate Kiyoshi, whose return to sanity and commentary bewilder the others. However, the Aboveground Student Council cavalry team and the other schoolboys assume Kiyoshi is mad for being able to see Meiko's soul form.

In a hinge of momentum for the Underground Student Council team, Meiko's soul descends from the air and is reunited with her body. The Vice-President sings the last verse of her ode to Mari in a powerful solo, shocking the crowd into silence and breaking Risa's control over Andre. The fallen USC cavalry members are initially unable to believe Meiko's return. In a moment of euphoria, Meiko looks up at the sky and is reminded of the now-fulfilled middle school promise to Mari. The two now reunited once more, Meiko declares her intent to punish Andre for his misdemeanor.
