Snake Eyes (スネーク・アイズ Sunēku Aizu) is the 164th chapter of the Prison School manga, serialized in Weekly Young Magazine on January 19th, 2015 and published in tankobon format in Volume 17 on June 5th, 2015.
Summary[]
The chapter opens with heavy breathing from both Kate and Mari. Both of them are naked and drenched in sweat, and no longer in the ouroboros position, having "completed ouroboros." Mari claims that they have become one in every sense of the word, and that their fates are truly bound. In shock, Kate realizes that the key of the handcuffs is missing from the box. With this turn of events in her favor, Mari confesses to lying and reveals that everything thus far has been a ruse. While Kate was escorting Mari, she distracted her with her torn shirt and managed to hide a smartphone on her person. Kate begins to realize that Mari also lied when she claimed to have trespassed into the room prior to their confrontation. The door opens only for Hana enters with a computer to Kate's shock - who was convinced of having broken their friendship. A cognizant Mari reveals that it was an act since the beginning - she had forced Hana into pretending to betray and hate her, in order to draw her closer to Kate. Having finally understood that that Mari asked Hana to record the whole scene, Kate falls to her knees out of shock. A victorious Mari then repeats her justification that she only did what Kate did to her.
