Kiyoshi Returns (キヨシ・リターン Kiyoshi Ritān) is the 13th chapter of the Prison School manga, serialised in Weekly Young Magazine on May 23th, 2011 and published in tankobon format in Volume 2 on October 6th, 2011.
Summary[]
As Meiko reaches a pile of rubble nearer the hole, Kiyoshi runs the last few metres to reach it. He dives through the rubble-obscured hole to find that the hole is too tight for him to slip through. Gakuto, having failed to slow Meiko down, prays for Kiyoshi to arrive. Kiyoshi struggles to fit through the hole (with his upper half obscured by rubble) until it is nearly too late, until Gakuto springs a rope-activated trap that collapes the rubble around Meiko. When Meiko gets up, a freed Kiyoshi picks her up and she beats Gakuto for the 'unkempt' rubble. Gakuto becomes unhappy as he was forced to use one of the traps he was saving for the real breakout. He and Kiyoshi argue about their trial breakout's findings and the weaknesses in the breakout plan quietly until Shingo interrupts them and asks them what they’re talking about.
Gakuto and Kiyoshi hurriedly claim they are talking about nothing special when Meiko starts collecting their prisoner wish lists (in her 'pyjamas'; a tank top and laced hotpants). She accepts Kiyoshi's request for a dictionary, rejects Andre and Shingo's requests for a model and a pomade and promises to consult about an ant plant for Jo and a MP3 player for Gakuto. Kiyoshi and Gakuto suddenly notice that there is a Track and Field District Meet the school is hosting that they will be completing work for on the Saturday of the breakout, as comfirmed by Meiko. As the sports area is in the school grounds far away from the breakout hole, they realise that the breakout will be more difficult to their dismay, just as the other boys celebrate the easier work on the day's five-hour prison labour shift.
